Terms & Policies




We understand that unanticipated events happen occasionally in everyone’s life. Business meetings, project deadlines, flight delays, car problems, and illness are just a few reasons why one might consider cancelling an appointment. In our desire to be effective and fair to all of our clients and out of consideration for our therapists’ time, we have adopted the following policies:


Please be kind and arrive at least 15 to 20 minutes before your scheduled appointment time in order to ensure you receive your full massage session. If we have discussed that a longer consultation is necessary, plan for a 30 minute (complimentary) consultation prior to your scheduled appointment time.


Please arrive 10 minutes before scheduled time to let me know how you felt after last massage, update health history if anything changed since last appointment, discuss your session goals, use the restroom, and prepare for massage treatment.

Late Arrival Policy:

Please call to let us know you are running behind. Your late arrival will require that we end your session at the scheduled time, meaning your session will unfortunately be shorter and you will be charged the full treatment price. We have reserved this time for you and only you and have other people scheduled after your time.

Cancellation Policy:

You may cancel your appointment without charge anytime before the close of business on the business day preceding your appointment but it is greatly appreciated if you notify me as soon as possible. 

Same day cancellations will be charged 50% of regular or NON-MEMBER massage price.

No Show Policy: 

If you do not call to cancel your appointment or do not show up for your scheduled appointment, you will be charged full price for the scheduled service. Future service will be denied until payment is made. Future appointments can be held with full pre-payment of selected massage service.

No shows will be charged 100% of regular or NON-MEMBER massage price.

Less than 24 hour notice:

If you are feeling ill the night before your scheduled appointment (less than 24 hours) and you are uncertain if you will be able to keep your appointment,


If you wake up with a fever, flu, or major cold on the day of your appointment, please cancel your appointment by texting 850-619-4817.

As soon as we are notified, we will begin trying to fill your scheduled appointment time with a client on the waiting list. The sooner we know that you will be unable to make your appointment, the more likely it is that we will be able to find a client for that time. 

We will do our best to fill up last minute cancellations as we understand that nobody wants to be charged for a session they did not receive, but unfortunately, it is not always possible. If we am unable to book another client in to your scheduled appointment time a 50% non-member massage rate cancellation fee will be applied.


Services & Products

All purchases, including but not limited to eGift Cards, Gift Certificates, Packages, Memberships, all other Services and Products are non-refundable, are not cash redeemable and non-transferable. Discounts may not be combined unless specified. Cash value never expires. Check with MLB regarding sales, promotions, and discount expiration.

Gift Certificates & Packages

  • We may choose to void a gift certificate if the client has repeated cancellations, late arrivals and/or no shows the appointment time they set up to use the gift certificate.

  • If you purchased a package and no show for a session you scheduled we will subtract one session from your package equal to the amount of time scheduled.

  • Other restrictions may apply.

 Charities & Fundraisers

If you received a gift certificate through a charity or donation, a no show will void the gift certificate regardless of how many sessions were listed on the gift certificate. 

Any exceptions to these policies are at the discretion of Massage Loft at Blackwater.
